Cooking - Children's Customs (1896) and Miyagawa Shuntei (1873 - 1914) was a Japanese neo-traditionalist illustrator
Miyagawa Shuntei shows a lifestyle of upper-class families, their engravings are interesting graphic documents, on the lifestyle of the upper-class and wealthy families in the Meiji period, perhaps for this reason was despised by Japanese art critics during his lifetime.
Currently Shuntei has been rescued between epic and warlike engravings of the Meiji period being increasingly valued for their very pleasant scenes to contemplate.
